The Angel Tree program provides Christmas assistance for disadvantaged children

The Angel Tree program provides Christmas assistance for disadvantaged children. The Angel Tree enable donors to become personally involved because they can select a specific child they want to help. Once a child is registered as an Angel, The Salvation Army makes a promise that will provide Christmas to that individual and that promise includes a variety of gifts. That’s why we reach out to you the community to help us reach that promise to our underprivileged children

In order to make the holiday program work, the Salvation Army relies on the generosity of individual as well as corporations and organizations.

Companies and organizations can participate in the Corporate Angel Tree program and adopt Angels to hang on their tree at school, work or church. After the Angels gifts are purchased, the gifts are to be returned to the Salvation Army where they are sorted and delivered to the families. Over the years we have had great success with our Corporate Angel Tree program and we hope it continues to strive.

We ask that families register in October, please keep in mind you must meet the federal minimum poverty guidelines to qualify. Once Angles have registered, Angel tags or ornaments are printed with Angel’s name, age gender, gift request and code number.

We also ask that a Corporate Angel Tree who is willing to host an Angel Tree to register in October. The Salvation Army will diver the Angel tags, directions, return bags and pick up. Participants need to adopt at least five Angels
